11. My Twist on Occultism
Most organized religious leaders insist that when humans harbor supernatural abilities, it's the work of an evil entity unless it's due to blind faith in their said deity. This has veered us from our original mandate to figure out the recipe to tap into such anomalous human capabilities.
The very term occult is exceptionally fluid. Everyone—from scientific to biblical scholars—has difficulty defining the word. What would you consider it to be? Now, even if you come up with a contrary enough definition, don't reject the information in this chapter. Be open to alternatives. Most look at occultism as any form of mystical knowledge not referred to in significant texts. Vague is an understatement here. Due to misconceptions, substitute words like esoteric and arcane came into the mix. For the most part, we look at occultism as the study of magical powers— like a form of divination. This book uses occultism to add a deeper spiritual meaning to the trade, beyond time and space, and reason and materialism. In medical terms, occultism is a hidden structure that may be detected indirectly by the presence of otherwise unexplained stimuli. I'd like to think our content exposes us to such structures.
Contrary to what we were taught to believe, this information can only do good. The universe will only do what's in its best interest. Just as we heal ourselves and upgrade our abilities, so does she. Yes, demonic forces are utilizing this stuff with hostile intentions. Luckily, the very nature of occultism will transmute this violent energy over time. It has no choice.
Temptation's a bitch, and it isn't easy. Moreover, for every good person who practices, you'll need at least a hundred bad just to rival the sheer power evoked when a person chooses to come from a good place with this. Check this out; as we approach the end of this age, all bets are off. It's time; it's either do something or sit around and do nothing while the bad guys use this knowledge to control everything you do and stand for. This can be interpreted in many ways—from combating the artificial EMFs with your fields to transforming objects into etheric bombs by vibrational frequency. This kind of work enables us to produce elegant harmonic codes within our bodies naturally. Again, these codes allow us to unlock skills that would otherwise lay dormant.
Two numbers ring the most bells in this community: sevens and threes. We already know seven main chakras and twenty-one minor chakras exist. What do seven times three equal, kids? We have seven holes in our heads. Scholars tell us we reproduce our bodies every seven years. That's right. With certain external exceptions, we are different people once this cycle completes itself. Internalize that, and you've just learned fundamental teaching in holistic medicine. Then ask yourself why some marks on the skin last through time. Although we only covered the relevant few, we have seven layers to our skin. The skin covers the entire body and accounts for 7 percent of our total body weight. We currently find ourselves on this earthly plane composed of seven continents. The bible states that the Earth was created in seven days. Sunday is the first day of the week, so Saturday, the seventh day of the week, is considered the Sabbath in many religions. As we get into religious mysticism, we find our ascended masters speak of the seven ages of man. During these ages, a specific chakra is more significant than the others. Again, seven specific colors show up when sunlight passes through a tetrahedron or prism. These colors are visible; examples are found in rainbows and the polar lights.
If you get anything from this book, I want you to reread the chapter on audible enhancers if you don't understand the musical scale. Many spiritual persuasions believe that the universe developed in seven stages. In this transitional state, there are seven musical notes on a scale. This doesn't hold in other realms. Those tapped into the other planes believe there are twelve pitches in that scale (i.e., twelve half steps). A pentatonic scale has five pitches per octave. Microtonal scales can have any number of pitches per octave, depending upon the composer's desire. Nothing demands a twelve-tone division, and there are numerous alternative tunings around the universe (harmonic and enharmonic) that have nothing to do with seven. However, Pythagoras realized that sound vibrations naturally popped off in a sequence of notes or whole tones repeated in a seven layout. Let me clarify because I want you guys to get this. First, let me state that the word "note" here is imprecise; what is referred to by note and tone is pitch, the specific vibrational frequency of a given angle.
I say note to attract familiarity, but in the Greek musical modes, as with the essential musical tradition in the West, it is not correct to refer to the steps in a musical scale as whole tones. If you imagine a piano with its sequence of white and black notes, pick any white key, then play upward on only the white keys until you reach an octave (from C to C or A to A, for instance). The sequence of pitches (notes) played will not be only whole steps because the steps from E to F and B to C are half-steps. If W = whole step and H = half-step, then if you start on a C, the pattern created is W-W-HW-W-W-H. Now, it is correct that there are seven white keys: C, D, E, F, G, A, and B. Each corresponds to a musical mode (similar to our current notion of scale). So there are seven modes, each with a corresponding sequence of whole and half steps. Over time, Western music generally kept only two of these modes: the one starting with C (that corresponds to our major scale) and the one beginning with A (that corresponds to our minor scale).
Most occultists agree that humankind has seven root races or tribes (having seven sub-races within each), even though I believe talking about an individual in terms of race is futile. In this day and age, we are constantly fusing. I think this is the only way toward human excellence. That doesn't mean I don't support preserving the current races for eternity—because I do. I don't think there's anything wrong with maintaining a nation's ethnic identity. As long as it's not violently enforced and a certain percentage of each nation's population is allowed to mix, I support racial preservation just as much as interracial families. I said this before; it's the real racist who wants to irradiate our different shades for one strand to dominate. Sadly the global elite begs to differ. Our responsibility is to help these magicians understand why they aren't justified in their sorcery, let alone their viewpoint. The worldwide genocides will continue unless we prove our point. The control system of the elite has hacked the collective human soul. The world's herd mentality follows their thoughts. We must reverse this self-sabotaging, homicidal, mass hypnosis streaming into our minds, dear friends. I'm not going to get into this discussion too much here. How much more bloodshed do we need to cut the shit? It's all about erasing these malicious programs running through our heads. I liken them to malware embedded in those warm pop-ups that show up on our screens while watching porn at 3 in the morning.
It must be said that the light our body emits is a thousand times weaker than what can be seen through 99.9 percent of people's eyes. Most of this light is merely a result of biochemical reactions to free radicals and how our metabolic rhythms fluctuate throughout the day. Melanin, the pigment behind skin color, has a fluorescent component that increases our ability to produce light. Scientists are now building cameras to spot weak emissions to help spot medical conditions. Our first subtle energy body is divided into seven subplanes. Some say all aircraft are divided into seven sub-planes. The bottom three subplanes represent the physical body, and the higher four subplanes correspond to the etheric body. A plane is simply an expression of existence; these are the subtle energy bodies we covered before. I don't get too wrapped up in categorizing things too much, yet, as I said, some people need them to help figure it out. Kind of like folders on a computer, we all don't use the same organizational methods—so be light with people.
We will now begin to understand sevens and threes in a far more profound way. Many teachers don't introduce students to this material until they have worked with the elemental energies for enough time to develop subtle senses to comprehend what's being expressed. Earlier I pointed out the seven rays, but I only related them to humanity and company. When collectively embraced, the seven measured divisions in any singular interpretation of Earth's 3-dimensional reality reveal the broad spectrum: oneness. It might also be interesting to note that my name, Michael Anthony Alberta, also fits the mold.
Practitioners are encouraged to entertain the thought we each develop along one of seven evolutionary paths outlined in Vishnu Purana. That statement makes retaining this material relatively hard since many cultures have various associations with their seven rays. So take your time with it. Again if you don't feel like you need it, keep it moving. Understand that each interpretation will be customized to the ray of the communicator. So call upon specific ray energies for sanctified guidance, service, and protection whenever you want. Accessing this information keeps us unified, enabling us to walk down different paths to enhance our spiritual growth and development. You'll quickly notice what aspects of our curriculum you gravitate to most. Whenever we illuminate the soul, we create shadows; this is symbolic of the inner polar opposite. This illumination forces our shadow self to meet the new and improved standards our spirit has established for us. These teachings are yet another ingredient to nearly all spiritual inclinations. The confrontation with our shadow self, or ego, perpetuates conflicts like war and animal cruelty. Although once necessary in its direction of time, we have now risen above that level and decided to go within. This happened many ages ago. We are currently experiencing the effects of that decision.
Perhaps the most evident is that our sun is currently transitioning its physical makeup from a hydrogen base to a helium base; at the same rate, our consciousness is moving from the third into the fourth dimension. We know this as the seventh cycle. Thanks to the new ray seven cycles, many advanced energy systems are, at this very moment, manifesting themselves in human bodies all over the world. It's just getting stronger and stronger. The buzz around town is Ray seven (of ceremonial magic or order) will condition the next 2,160-year cycle of Aquarius.83 Again, a staple of many occult and new age circles is how the seven stars of the Great Bear are directly related to the seven entities that currently govern our planet. Each of these stars manifests a ray of energy in our solar system. Each of these beings has gone by so many names; it would be ineffectual to tell you who they are. I explain what I mean by this in detail in the next chapter, and it is founded within the code.

of our software application. This knowledge is just being relearned, and the research is inconclusive. We are finding more and more similarities between the rays and the dimensions we just covered. These groups believe one entity, which entered existence as our solar system, has seven centers that direct intelligence where it needs to go. Again, our planets represent this one entity's chakras. Seven energy streams enter this solar system from cosmic sources and condition every life form within it. It's best to regard this knowledge as a guideline rather than a dogmatic fact. Tighten up, and don't be a meatball.
Through machines, the seven rays are described as emanations from the sun that interact with each other. Through our eyes, the seven rays of light or God appear simply as the colors embedded in rainbows. Yet, more resounding, they represent attributes of the higher powers' control over all earthly manifestations. Our teachers have told us we all have rays assigned to our souls and personality. This ray stays with us through our various incarnations and changes each time we enter a new plane or return to the same plane of existence. Roberto Assagioli, one of the greatest psychologists of the last century, developed his psychosynthesis techniques from the seven rays. Witness how people of different ethnic backgrounds, without changing their religious beliefs, can trek the same spiritual path united in service, thanks to this concept. Although many civilizations utilize very distinct practices, it's all the same. This devotion to not only ourselves but also to each other will permit us to continue our very existence. As old systems crumble and our cultural grids intersect, a safe bridge will forever bond us in the West with those in the East. We can all live in harmony while developing a system that rewards people based on their dedication to our planet rather than the bloodline they derive from or religious affiliation.
By meriting a person solely based on their contribution to Earth as a whole, we force all seven rays to work in harmony with one another. I'm witnessing the makers and takers battling for America's soul. As the Earth's petri dish, we can already get an idea of what happens if we choose to govern ourselves on a global scale this way. We can never measure one person's contribution over another's based on only one standard. It's all about what you're capable of. Several things have to be taken into account, including any emotional handicaps and mental or physical disabilities; nonetheless, everyone has their niche, and with the right direction, the unique energetic imprint each harbor within can be employed in a wide array of dignified tasks.
To paraphrase Donald Trump, "if we continue down this path we're on, we'll become a nation consumed with people that simply won't produce ."Sadly, most humans need the motivation to do something productive with their lives. How do we level out the playing field while giving people enough incentive to produce? In truth, so far, all my solutions deem exploitable. I don't have all the answers. I'm not trying to sound like an Elitist, but one thing is for sure, the rich will always outsmart the poor. Many don't want to believe this, but it's universal law. You may be thinking: Always? It has not always been the case; what about an incompetent mugger who murders and robs a wealthy business person and gets off scot-free? Think about when colonial powers invaded tribal villages only to be defeated by their primitively armed inhabitants. The wars in Vietnam and Afghanistan point here. I say this in broad terms. By studying the definitions, roots, and true meanings of rich and poor, there's a good chance you'll come to the same conclusion. Naturally, those who perform better will have dominion over their peers and the like—maybe not every single time, but most of the time. This applies to virtually every form of biological life on this planet.
The solution is not to give anybody reasons to overpower anyone in the first place. It's a matter of ego. We need to rewire our collective thought process. Humans generally elevate themselves above those around them, be it mentally, financially, spiritually, etc. As soon as love has its way with you, by default, you'll be abundant and give and abandon these kinds of yucky behavioral characteristics. We're talking about real, non-biased love here, you guys.
Many of you may object that this is a circular argument; we should only call love that conforms to this kind of love. Most love in the world makes people radically selfish about others—honey for your spouse usually means sacrifices for that spouse but not others. The situation is even more extreme for the love of your children. The love of the country leads people to murder people in other countries. And so it goes. Saying that all of these loves aren't real loves evades the issue.
Moreover, love as an effect is, by definition, transitory and thus unreliable. Even if some people could achieve this kind of love, others might arrive at righteousness through something other than love. This is why if you remember earlier, I clearly stated honey isn't the only way to go. It's just the path I'm on, so naturally, I'll project that onto my work.
Where were we? There are universal laws attached to each ray. At this stage in human evolution, it might be a good idea to apply all these lessons by integrating them into all angles of our present states of being. During this accelerated phase, those who don't abide by these laws will thus prevent themselves from learning the lessons necessary to keep moving in the initiate's direction. You will call the energies housed in the rays by different names depending on your spiritual inclination. Again don't allow definitions to take you away from their power. The minute we classify something in a category, we rob ourselves of its purest energy. The following information is not meant for everyone to understand, so please read beyond the words.
We summon these energy systems through their corresponding rays and associated colors. Based on my research, the dominant or ruling ray is the first one, and this ray resonates with God Almighty/ Yahweh/Allah/Jehovah/Zeus, and so on. The second ray is governed by Moses/Jesus Christ/Mohamed/Buddha/Krishna. From that point on, the rest of the rays are run by those we've come to accept as our ascended masters—adepts whose very existence is necessary for a happy and healthy planet. I've been told they house themselves in immortal bodies around specific locations, enabling certain people to visit. Again, use this as a building blocks to help you internalize that it's all the same. It's always been you. The following are all but distinct reflections of self. Don't get it fucked up, though. I believe there is a power greater than self, and that power I define as the Source. I'm not entirely clear as to the true nature of the Source, but for me to say I'm the Source seems a bit selfish. However, I believe I was created in the Source's image, as were we all. Similar to how you can take a tiny piece away from a fractal and find it's the same shape as its larger counterpart. But let's look at it from the veneer.
Our planet has been riddled with superheroes and demigods throughout history. These entities can appear anywhere—often simultaneously. Through a clear lens, you'll view the variety that cultures and ideologies give us. Half of our spiritual persuasions believe they embody a tangible form, while others believe they exist purely in the etheric plane. I and many others trust they move in and out of all rays and take on whatever form necessary to keep the universe alive. The seven rays are transmitted from the Solar Logos through the spiritual hierarchy onto us. The chain goes from us down the line to animals, plants, etc. It's an overload of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. The rays give us a pervading opportunity to bask in all of them.
Artists who practice Dynamic Body Art Therapy come from everywhere. At our institute, we do not need to convert people to our beliefs; we help them to discover their own. The first known documentation of the seven rays harkens back to the ancient Vedic period. Later on, the elusive Italian secret society of the late 1600s, the Knights of the Apocalypse, donned these seven rays in their uniforms. Today the colors of the rainbow are synonymous with being gay; yet before any group used them to promote their agenda, they symbolized our connection to the seven rishis—God's closest manifestation. These beings are said to carry out God's will. Every continent seems to have a different name for them. One of several names remains true regardless of what you call: Venus—the morning star. Perhaps our protectors derived from Venus? But are they protectors?
Age-old text states Venus correlates directly to Lucifer. Then again, according to Michael Tsarion, Lucifer was not a person but a name given to the highest class teachers, priests, and healers—among them Jesus and Mother Mary the Virgin. I can't entirely agree with everything this man says, yet he may be on to something with this one. He claims ancient writings depict each Lucifer in obedience to the will of the divine. Like the rishis, they work with our Source, not against it. Throughout history, you'll note moments where notions of divine will are opposite to human action. As such, you can say those opposed to the change, those practicing hate and the like might be expressions of the divine will just as much as the champions and practitioners of love. This has created a muddle. It doesn't matter if free will is invoked or not at this point—even when you act freely, you can enact the divine will.
This clutter undermines any sense of urgency because readers may say, "Whether I act or not, and how I act or not, that will be the divine will regardless. How can it be otherwise? Even to go against the divine will is to play a part in God's master plan. When you reach such junctures, where the holy will is invoked as a justification or factor of some action, it's best to flat out avoid this. Mainly because (1), it's uncertain that anyone can claim to know the divine will, and (2) it destroys the basis for human action. Don't sit around thinking these heroic manifestations are necessarily protecting humanity, either. For all we know, they're mad at humans, and God is using them to punish us. I doubt that's the case, yet I believe you must question everything unless it's the power of healing through intent. As we know, doubt hinders activity in this respect . . . I think we have the same capacities as these rishis, saints, demons—call them what you will. I'm on the fence about whether they're even around. Most of what we think is going on results from chemical responses in the brain.
Nonetheless, these entities have been brought up in Lemuria and Atlantis research. (This is a history class by itself.) Shambala is another place you might want to look into as well if you're into regions that lack factual evidence of their existence. I think these places reside in an alternate plane of existence, hence the reason for science not picking up on them as of yet. There are several hypothetically lost worlds riddled throughout present-day Earth. Regardless of their validity, the geometries and number sequences attributed to these lost worlds are nothing short of mind-blowing. At the very least, these stories are far more creative than any fictional tales out there. Hollywood has included aspects of such stories in its films for decades. It often has me questioning who's really in charge of the media and what they're trying to tell us.
Anyway, cycles of these beings seem to exist at different periods. While hearsay abounds, one thing is sure: the Incas, the Hopi, and Mayans base their prophetic calendars on this Venus, and their religious hieroglyphs point in the direction of seven supreme beings. Perhaps the most riveting is that Jesus Christ, or the Pale Prophet, said he'd return after five cycles of this morning star. I, Jesus, have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star." Revelation 22:16. Wherever these beings erected their structures and created their religions, they were more often than not aligned with Venus, the morning star. This has been documented dozens of times. I find it captivating to hear that scientists believe the planet Venus may have been an ancient utopia, similar to Earth. Now we could parallel its atmosphere to a fiery inferno. Could this be where we're headed if we don't harbor technology lovingly? Could the gray E.T.s be a strand of humanity who chose to take this path?
Metaphysicians describe another type of transcendent force we coexist with as archangels/powers/controls. I think they are the very waves and particles used to create the universe. Unlike most of us, they don't need to build structures to change the planet's vibration. Tricia McCannon talks about the Council of Nine, which she describes as "primordial waveform energies that interpenetrate the universe that can be anywhere and everywhere." Training someone to project during sleep astrally is the most efficient way to access the plane of existence where we can communicate with them. Its spirit/matter, gentle people, and we, as a species, are just starting to reconnect with it. After the Vedic era, you'll find, to date, the seven rays rear their head in nearly all of the brands of religious mystics from the Hindus, Chaldeans, Persians, Syrians, Phoenicians, and Egyptians to the Christians, Jews, and the Pagans.
Several sevens have been discussed, but significant groups of threes have not been presented. So let's have it. Most of this information was courtesy of Wikipedia's page on page three. This wasn't channeled from the Flying Spaghetti Monster—sorry to disappoint. I've been taught three was originally a sacred glyph before it was introduced to the world as a number. Ayurvedic healing relies on a system of sickness and medicine known as the three Doshas. The three Gunas control the world according to Vedic history. We also have the Trimurti of Hinduism and the three members of the Holy Family: Mary, Joseph, and Jesus.
Let's not forget about the Wiccan rule of three or how most of us distinguish light as a fusion of three elementary colors: green, red, and blue. In Islam, your arms, face, hands, and feet are cleansed three times during wudhu. It's been written that Buddha has three bodies. In music, the tritone splits an octave into three symmetrical notes. There are also three notes in a triad, which sets the stage for chords. Catholics believe we go to one of three places: hell, purgatory, or heaven when we die. The old three-strikes-and-you're-out rule applies to various things, from baseball to your felony record. While good luck comes in sevens, bad luck seems to come in threes. This has been combated with the successful inversion of the phrase: "Third time's the charm." Mostly, people are uncomfortable doing things in threes, and nobody wants to be the third man. It's interesting to see how we measure the ultimate athlete by how well they complete a triathlon. Most of the time, when a group of people wants to do something, they do it on the count of three. The Pythagoreans claim three is the first male number. To me, it's female due to the fact it's the fifth Fibonacci number. We use a triplet codon system to process RNA and DNA genetic material. Ancient European civilizations were broken down into three distinct divisions of commoners, warriors, and priests.
Regarding our bodies, our ears have three spiral-like canals; go a little deeper, and you'll find our inner ear has three ossicles inside. Also, most of our elbows furnish three bones. But, to me, the most obvious example of the number three's connection to the Source is found in the number's relationship to an atom with its trinity of electron, proton, and neutron. Remember, most of us use threes and sixes to get by on the physical plane. When you start to vibrate at higher frequencies, you live life by threes and sevens. All you have to do is sit with the two sets and feel what's positive. Although the majority of information on the seven rays is off the radar of this course, we gave you a brief overview. Again to relate this topic to a computer, you might or might not need this "program." It's compatible with many "operating systems," but that doesn't guarantee it works with yours.
Although remnants of this information have been recorded at different times and locations throughout ancient history, two people, Madame H. P. Blavatsky and Alice Bailey translated the ray information for human beings of average intelligence, like me, to comprehend. These women were divine archetypes in their own right. Although technically wise, their ideas on the rays differ. Nonetheless, they agreed in principle. We know there are no accidents. These discrepancies within both of their works are now believed not to be flawed logic but accurate depictions on multiple dimensional levels. This doesn't mean that all double standards and contradictions can use this pass. Certainly not; it's like thinking a wild kid is an Indigo or Crystal child because he has ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) or Autism. No offense, but that's usually just not the case. These ladies strongly urge that when we go through life with an ego-based train of thought, we subconsciously sabotage ourselves to pursue the greater good. I feel as though this belief has the potential to prevent and stop much of the world's dilemmas. We just need enough of us to understand this. You must throw in the towel now if you're going to use occultism for harmful purposes. If you feel you're ready, The Secret Doctrine and Treatise on the Seven Rays are books to read as soon as possible. Just consider that, as humans, we desire to think in absolutes. We advocate remaining fluid with our persuasions by veering away from stubborn trains of thought, as this only taints the energy we work with.
Alice A. Bailey summoned Tibetan master Djwhal Khul between 1919 and 1949 to channel these things. Her work led us as a species to all kinds of new paradigms. Our curriculum is sprinkled with this for sure. It didn't surprise me when I heard these women are credited with assimilating the new world religion of the Illuminati. Although I'm pretty sure it wasn't her intention, Nazism is well documented to be influenced by the work of Blavatsky. Another interesting fact is that Alice Bailey's husband was a highly decorated, thirty-third-degree Freemason. Throughout these ladies' writings, Lucifer is somewhat glorified. However, I have little reason to believe these ladies were in service to him; instead, they negotiated with him after stumbling upon Ahriman. That sounds good to us humans, yet what's set to replace him is a force our hearts and minds won't know what to do with. This is why, I believe, we have allowed Lucifer into our spiritual lexicon. Again, Satan and the devil may be independent of this whole situation. I'm talking about Lucifer, the son of the morning. Humanity may be temporarily working with him to take down a much more significant threat, or perhaps he switched sides. In truth, I don't know yet. Now, this, by no means, insinuates a separation from God but rather a display of opposing forces working together through a third party: us. This triangle offense cannot be stopped. Even those who want no part of anything related to Lucifer understand the effectiveness of fighting fire with fire. Together we stand; divided we fall—Aesop.
OK, that's enough about that; we hope you have the opportunity to experience these numbers as sacred symbols. The type of intelligence unleashed if you unlock this latent power cannot be generated naturally nor expressed by another. In some cases, individuals who have been diagnosed with synesthesia exist to exist, but this is very rare. You can, however, synthetically predispose your brain to feel and taste numbers. That's right. This results from fusing the brain's left and right sides with technology. Once you integrate with the digits, you'll soon notice your transparent edge. You are turned into a different frequency. Let's take a minute to understand what symbols mean to us. People base everything in existence on the symbolic portrayal they have of it. It's how we make sense of life. Corporate logo designers are well aware of this. We either developed or were born with these perceptual categories to help us figure out what is going on. Language itself is a symbolic form of what I'm talking about. It anchors meaning to the symbols. Symbols were emphasized as being the key to unlocking the unconscious. Nuance is created in these interactions while we share our insights of symbols. We then react to others based on these insights. "I am whatever you say I am."—Eminem.
People who use abstract symbols live differently from the norm. They're considered geniuses and can generally experience the world as an inter-dimensional sentient far more quickly than the average person. I've been told this is essential for ascension. I use the term ascension to encapsulate the act of reaching higher levels of existence. While governmental and religious occupations influence us, symbols always bring us back. They can both instigate and mitigate mind control. Specific images forever etch themselves inside the core of our spirit. Think anchors. They're all about aligning everyday people with the supernatural. You'll find I often use we instead of you or us instead of me. Although confusing at times, don't panic. This will stimulate your subconscious and kindle between-the-line translations.
Remember, the true nature of occultism is to hide; again, there are severe risks associated with occult practices. The biggest threats I've encountered are the dybbuks and golems we can summon with our internal dialogues. These entities derive from an ancient Jewish idea that you can create a physical monster with a strong enough conviction if you believe in it. Islam's versions of dybbuks are called shaitan, demonic expressions of a person's jinn (or guardian angel). Such entities survive in similar ways to how the Hollywood film, Clash of the Titans, portrays gods: they can't exist without the will and prayers of humanity. This also relates to Robert Lanzas' theory of biocentrism, in the sense that space and time are not objects outside of yourself, but it's like they don't exist until you think about them. More and more solid proof is coming out every day that tells us everything we know to exist relies on the presence of an observer to manifest itself into the material world. Just know these times we live in require harmonious resonance with our higher power(s) and the sacred sites they have built. The primary point, indicated by the quotation at the beginning of the chapter, is that there are two levels of understanding: the world of appearances and the world beyond appearances, which have many other layers of existence or reality. The world of arrival is consciously or unconsciously affected by the world beyond appearances. Intuitively this may bestow upon you a renewed appreciation and sense of responsibility toward body art—as both a profession and a culture.
